Hey Google (Alexa/Siri) Bedroom Lights Off!

You can turn off your bedroom light by simply saying, "Hey Google, bedroom light off," "Alexa, bedroom light off," or "Hey Siri, bedroom light off," so you don't need to get out of bed to turn off the light, adding convenience and comfort to your bedtime routine.

How to get it done:

  1. Select and Download the CONTROLLER:

    • Choose your voice assistant app: Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Apple Home (for Siri).
    • Download the appropriate app:
  2. Select the DEVICE:

    • Type: Smart light bulb or smart plug for your existing light.
    • Select a compatible smart light or smart plug from here (click here to browse different types of smart lights and plugs).
    • Ensure the device is compatible with your chosen voice assistant (Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, or Siri).
  3. Automate using the voice assistant app:

    • Open the appropriate app (Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Apple Home).
    • Add the smart light or smart plug: Ensure the device is in pairing mode.
    • Click "Add Device" and follow the in-app instructions to connect the smart light or smart plug to your Wi-Fi network and name it "Bedroom Light."
    • In the Google Home app, Amazon Alexa app, or Apple Home app, link your smart light or smart plug.
    • Test the voice command by saying, "Hey Google, bedroom light off," "Alexa, bedroom light off," or "Hey Siri, bedroom light off."
